Thousands of British Kashmiris are expected to be rallying outside British Parliament and Indian High Commission in London on Tuesday, 3rd of September. The planned protests are the part of a series of demonstrations in the country. The British Kashmiris are angry over India’s decision to revoke the autonomous status of the state of Jammu and Kashmir via the abrogation of the Article 370 of the Indian Constitution.
In an earlier protest on 15th of August, thousands of people, many waving Pakistani and Kashmiri flags, protested outside the Indian High Commission in London in support of the disputed Himalayan region of Kashmir.
In previous demonstrations the protesters carried banners saying “Kashmir is Burning”, “Free Kashmir” and “Modi: Make Tea Not War”, according to a Reuters reporter.
