Bagh Azad Jammu & Kashmir (IoK News) Women University of Azad Jammu & Kashmir Bagh actively participated in the Launching Ceremony and Scoping Workshop at Karakoram International University Gilgit.
The workshop has been organized under U.S-Pakistan University Partnerships Grants Program.
The Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Abdul Hamid, the Registrar Dr. Syeda Sadiqa Firdous, and the Deputy Registrar Ms. Tahzeeb Mahreen participated in the said event.
The theme of the event was to promote education for sustainable mountain development through curriculum enrichment and capacity building in the Himalayas, Karakoram, and Hindukush(HKH) regions.
A comprehensive mutual understanding has been developed to design and execute a Mountain Studies Course and to work for Capacity Building with reference to the objectives of the project and to strengthen the ties between both the universities through this collaboration.
